Messaging transparency

How TTT SMS verification works

This page shows exactly how The Tech Tutors asks permission before sending a text message, so customers, carriers, and messaging reviewers can see the whole flow without an account.

Who is texting you

The Tech Tutors (TTT), a service of Divine Labs LLC. We provide patient, in-person and remote technology help. Support: hello@thetechtutors.com.

The steps a customer sees

  1. Choose how to receive a one-time code: text message or email.
  2. If text message, enter a mobile phone number.
  3. A dedicated “Verify your phone number” screen appears with an unchecked consent checkbox.
  4. The customer must tick the box themselves — nothing is pre-selected.
  5. Only then does “Send my code” request a one-time code from our authentication provider.

If the box is not ticked, no text message is requested or sent. The customer is offered an emailed one-time code instead.

Who sends, who receives, and why
